Nestled up to the George Inn in Abbots Leigh, with award-winning coffees, a range of fabulous teas and a shed full of delicious cakes and savoury snacks.
Suspiciously friendly staff
Our team are so friendly it's almost suspicious. Come in grumpy and you'll leave with a smile, a coffee and quite possibly a new best friend.
We did once ask them to be a bit more cool and aloof, just for the mystique. It lasted until the first customer walked in and got a cheerful "Morning! The usual?"
And if you've just cycled here and you're a little out of breath, they'll kindly pretend not to notice.
A beautiful garden in the summer
When the sun comes out, our garden is a lovely spot to sit with a coffee and a slice of cake and pretend you're on holiday. We can't promise the British weather, but we can promise the garden looks gorgeous when it turns up.
A warm fireside in the winter
When it's cold, wet and blowy — so, quite a lot of the year — pull up a chair by the fire and thaw out. Soggy cyclists and muddy walkers are very welcome. The fire doesn't judge, and neither do we.
Free dog biscuits
Dogs get free biscuits. No purchase necessary, no questions asked, no forms to fill in.
We've noticed some dogs now drag their owners here on purpose. We're counting that as a marketing success.
